Perry Gomez is a powerful shape-shifter who attended Shadow Falls Academy. He is a part-time FRU agent and is in a romantic relationship with Miranda Kane.
Biography
Early Life
Perry started showing the ability of shapeshifting at the age of two. His emotional tantrums made him constantly transform in a fit of rage. One time, he nearly ate his half-shifter cousin Sam. His parents, particularly his mother, found him too difficult to deal with and convinced her husband to abandon Perry in a mall. Perry wound up in foster care for supernatural children, where he met and befriended Burnett James.
Perry became known as one of the most powerful shape-shifters in the world; he could transform into any creature he could imagine, be it natural or mythical. He developed a crush on Miranda on her first time at Shadow Falls Camp but didn't dare to admit anything.
Born at Midnight

Perry introduces Kylie Galen to the supernatural world when he transforms into a unicorn. That night, he tries to peek into Miranda's cabin, gets taken in by Kylie, caught by Miranda and then thrown out by Kylie, who threatens to neuter him if he ever does that again.
On another occasion, Miranda finds an injured baby bird and tries to take care of it, but Della and Kylie instantly recognize him by his affectionate look at Miranda.
Awake at Dawn

At the beginning of Awake at Dawn, Miranda gets kissed by Kevin, a fellow shape-shifter, and Perry flies into a fighting rage when he finds out. He then kisses Miranda and then dumps her on the spot, and ignores her for most of the book.
Taken at Dusk

Having grown tired of being ignored by Miranda, Perry starts wishing for her forgiveness. While trying to cut in to dance with Miranda, he starts a fight with Clark, a warlock, who shoves Miranda; the dining room is almost destroyed by the fight. He finally begins to follow his heart and asks Miranda out. From then on, they become a couple.
Perry is assigned by Burnett to be one of Kylie's "shadows" - a bodyguard until Burnett ends the shadowing duties.
Whispers at Moonrise

Still assigned as Kylie's shadow, Perry takes his job seriously. On the night Kylie runs out of the property to meet with her grandfather and great-aunt, Perry and Lucas catch her running and try to convince her to return to camp with them. Instead, she conjures up a net to immobilize them long enough for her to escape. Perry flies around town looking for her until Lucas finds her.
When Nikki, a new student, shows an interest in Perry, Perry seems to enjoy the attention, much to Miranda's dismay.
Kylie later finds out Perry grew up in the same foster system as Burnett.
Chosen at Nightfall

At the beginning of Chosen at Nightfall, he flips Kylie's uncomfortable situation by showing everyone his buttocks and sway their attention to him. A brief argument occurs between Miranda and Perry when his girlfriend turns Nikki, a fellow shape-shifter, into a kangaroo out of jealousy, but they make up afterwards.
Reborn

Perry and Miranda are still a couple. When Steve tells him and Lucas about the girls' plan to investigate a funeral home's illegal slave trafficking, they rush there to help them, only to find the situation handled.
Eternal

Perry suddenly breaks up with Miranda. He has been accepted to a special school for shape-shifters in Paris, and decides to leave. Miranda gives him an enchanted phone so they can keep in touch, but he opts to break up with her instead.
Spellbinder

When Perry hears of Miranda's arrival in Paris, along with Della, Kylie, Burnett, and other contestants, he instantly goes to see her. He tells her why he wanted to break up: he has always had a hard time controlling his power and can't risk going out in public for fear of exposing supernaturals to the world, but Miranda's future plans have always involved that world and he didn't think he was good enough. He took the scholarship to try to work on controlling his power, which has helped him exponentially. He begs Miranda's forgiveness and promises that he will be returning to Shadow Falls soon.
On the day of the practice, the stadium is stormed by vampires and Perry takes Miranda up to the roof to keep her safe then goes off to find her sister, who has been kidnapped. Unbeknownst to them, there is another vampire on the roof and he manages to take Miranda to the catacombs where Tabitha is also kept hostage.
Later that night, Perry comes to apologize, but Miranda doesn't blame him. They kiss.
Unspoken

Perry returns to Shadow Falls, but Miranda avoids him. He goes to Della for advice.
He catches his cousin Sam lurking about the campus and tries to hand him over to Burnett. Sam mentions seeing his parents and knowing where they are. Perry is caught off guard and unprepared when he smashes him on the head and tries to escape, only to be caught by Burnett. Perry decides to leave again to find his parents, this time promising to keep in touch with Miranda.
Fighting Back

Perry is mentioned frequently, but doesn't make an appearance. Apparently, he hasn't kept in touch with Miranda.
Midnight Hour

In early June 2016, Perry joins his father and colleague on a robbery, and tries to keep the situation as calmly as possible. He found out his parents were criminals and has been trying to find evidence on the boss they are working for. He hears a telepathic cry for help from Miranda and sneaks off to see her. They reunite and talk in the hospital.
Perry keeps in touch with Burnett about his situation but refuses to return to Shadow Falls or let the FRU take over until he knows it's safe. This is incentivized by the fact that Miranda and Tabitha are now targets. He frequently sneaks back to Shadow Falls to see Miranda.
They realize they are each other's true loves.
Physical appearance
Perry is tall, broad-shouldered with dirty blond hair and blue eyes that change color in response to his emotions.
Personality
Perry is temperamental but easygoing and funny. Behind all that easygoing attitude, hides a very sad and shy boy who is afraid of rejection but is too proud to admit his weakness. He also cares about those around him and is very bold.
