Connor Powell, also known as Douglas Stone, was the man who killed Bao Yu Tsang and was a leader of a criminal gang of hybrids.
History
Early Life
Connor was kept a secret by his father Logan Powell, presumably because he was a hybrid and not a full-blooded vampire, and such status was frowned upon by pure vampires. He went to live with his mother in France for a time, but then returned to the US and joined a gang leader for rogue supernaturals, most of which were hybrids. When the newly-turned Feng Tsang rebelled against them, Powell killed his sister to make a point. His crime was reported and he had been on the run since. He left the country for a few years and the Vampire Council failed to find him.
Sometime later, he returned to the US.

Researching into the murder of Bao Yu Tsang to exonerate her father, Della Tsang and Chase Tallman start looking for someone named "Douglas Stone". After a long series of chasing and raiding houses, they catch Powell's attention. Powell murders his own father and girlfriend to protect himself. When Della finds him, he dashes away and takes a little girl hostage to distract Della and make his escape.
Chase later learns of Powell's connection and leverage against the Vampire Council and is torn between helping Della and betraying the council.
Powell later holds Della's family hostage to torment her. There, he exposes Della's vampirism to her family, but the sadistic mission goes south when Della proves faster and stronger than him and his followers. Burnett, infuriated by Shawn Hanson being kidnapped, brutally interrogates the criminals for Shawn's whereabouts and shoots Powell to make them answer. Powell is arrested and sent to Hell's Pit.
Personality
Powell is a ruthless, sadistic, and heartless individual, who would kill anyone for self-preservation and pleasure, including his own family.
