Tami Collins was Mindy Tallman's best friend, and Chase Tallman's love interest. She was killed in a plane crash at the end of Unbreakable.
History
Early Life
Tami's brother died of leukemia when he was young.
Sometime later, Tami met and befriended Mindy and developed a crush on her brother Chase when she first saw him play baseball. Both were interested in each other but never tried to make a move beyond friendship.
Unbreakable

Tami Collins joined the Tallman family on a trip to Jasper County, Missouri, where they were to conduct genetic research by giving blood for testing. Afterward, Mindy, Chase and Tami went to a street fair. While there, a palm reader read their futures: Chase was to come into great powers and would have to choose between using them for good or for evil. However, when she read Tami's, she panicked and tried to give back the money. At Tami's insistence, she answered her question with a lie. Tami suspected she was going to die, but the palm reader simply said they were all going to die someday before sending them away.
Chase and Tami confessed their feelings to one another. That night, on the flight back to Texas, the jet plane met with terrible turbulence and crashed, killing Tami and all of Chase's family while Chase was rescued by two vampires. As he lay dying, Tami and the others' spirits urged him to go back and keep on living. Tami told him there will be another girl in his future who will be a real challenge for him. Their bodies were recovered and returned to Texas for burial while their souls moved on to the afterlife.
