When the Tallman family's plane went missing on October 31st in Jasper Mountain Range, a troop was sent to find the family and their family friend, Tami Collins. Carter stated that the troops were working day and night to find them. On November 1st late afternoon, Carter told the news that they had found the Tallmans and Tami all dead, and offered his condolences to the relatives and friends of the Tallmans and the Collinses.
