Chameleons
Chameleons generally have to feel a deep desire to vanish to activate the power. To make oneself visible again, one must concentrate deeply on wanting to be visible again. When they disappear, they become nearly untraceable: they cannot be seen, heard, or smelled.
Chameleons in invisible mode can hear each other's voices but not see each other. Experienced users can even make larger objects—such as cars—invisible with them.
Witches
According to Miranda Kane, witches can make themselves invisible through Spell Casting.
Limitations
A fae with a powerful empathic connection to a specific chameleon may be able to detect their presence. Derek Lakes sensed Kylie's presence due to the empathic connection he had with her, which allowed him to track her down. He also sensed Jenny Yates when she first snuck into Shadow Falls Academy.
