Lie Detection is a skill to determine whether someone is lying. It is not an actual power, but a skill learned through practice.
Description
This ability is generally possessed by vampires and is utilized through their acute sense of hearing allowing them to hear the increase in heart rate when they lie. Many vampires practice this skill.
Faes with empathy can also sense if someone is lying.
Limitations
Since lie detection is not an actual supernatural ability, it is impossible to completely know if someone is telling the truth. Certain people are so good at lying that it becomes second nature, while others can control their heart rate.
Faes can feel another person's emotions, and through them sense if someone is lying, but it is not as profound as a vampire's hearing.
