Chester is a chubby tabby feline owned by Mr. and Mrs. Chi before they were murdered. He was severely injured, but was saved and later adopted by Della Tsang.

Chester was supposedly attacked and heavily injured because werewolves and cats had an aversion to each other. Della briefly saw Chester's spirit before the cat resuscitated. Since the Chis' daughter refused to take him in, Burnett suggested Della to take care of him instead.
